For the ECMIS2024 congress the Local Organising Comittee has chosen for a special place, situated just outside the historic City Centre. The name "Zebrastraat" is a historic link to the area where in the 19th a complete Zoo was situated. The venue is renowned for its cultural events and the organisation of scientific events. The multi-purpose room Ned Kahn will be used as our major conference room.
Culture in Zebrastraat includes exhibitions, works of art from a permanent collection of the Liedts-Meesen Foundation, showcases, performances, exceptional concerts and events. The Zebrastraat is available for cultural activities organized by third parties or part of a global concept. Under the name 'Zebrapoint' we make our rooms available free of charge to cultural associations such as deBuren, Fonds Pascal Decroos, MO* Magazine and so on. The reflection takes place at the bar with a fresh pint and live music.
